We are open for business

We were meant to open for guests during the summer of 2020, but then Covid hit. A few years later, in 2023, we finally opened up for guests! And we are still going strong!

3 nights is the the minimum to help us plan cleaning and caring for our precious home from a distance, but we would like to suggest that you stay at least 7 nights. This will give you enough time to discover a large part of the island. You will also have time to get to know some of the locals and to enjoy local restaurants and sights. 😉 If you would like some help to plan your stay we can put you in touch with our local Travel Designer Sandra! Let us know and we will give you her details.

Prices

The whole house is at your disposal (except for one storage room), for up to 4 adults (children under 8 stay for free in parents’ room, to book extra beds for this contact us!).

Minimum booking is 3 nights. Current prices are displayed in our AirBnB ad.

What conveniences are there in Mogorella?

In the village there are two grocery shops, a butcher, a pharmacy, a doctor’s office, a flower shop, a library, a post office and a gym. All are located within walking distance from the house. Their addresses and current opening hours will be available in your welcome e-mail, when you make a reservation to stay at La Porta Blu.

How far is the beach?

There are literally thousands of beaches around the coasts of Sardinia. Everyone has their own favorite. The closest beaches are in the Oristano bay about 30 minutes drive from Mogorella, but there are plenty more, both south and north of Oristano, if you drive just a little bit further. And they are all different from one another and spectacular in their own way!

Do you have Wi-Fi?

At the moment we don’t. Disconnect and relax! Mobile coverage may vary. Vodafone is the Italian operator with best mobile coverage. For Scandinavian guests Telenor has the best coverage as they use the Vodafone network. Other foreign operators may vary in coverage.

How far is the nearest grocery shop?

Less than 50 meters. It’s on the same street as La Porta Blu. There is another one close to the market square as well.

Are there any bars near by?

The Circolo is 100 from La Porta Blu, a 2 minute walk. In the summer there is also Il Chiosco, near the sports field, about 500 m from La Porta Blu. The bars are open from early to late, but there is seldom much noise from them. People are just there enjoying each others company.
